Okay, all you Dead Heads, join your favorite artist, Jortt, as he helps you create your next masterpiece based on his signature strange and wonderful style using acrylic paints. This project is a stylized version of the Grateful Dead’s iconic album, “Steal your Face.
John will guide you through his process of working with simple shapes, and turning them into Something Wonderful.
Participants will paint along and be encouraged to create their own original work.
He will address the following :
– Feel confident at the easel
– Stop thinking and start creating
– Composition
– Finding shapes
– Color theory
…and this is a fast-paced painting class, artist will get paint on their clothes.
Fun Balloon Project
3 April – 5:30 – 7:30
Laconiko Olive Oil – Manassas
Guest artist Jortt will lead a two-hour acrylic painting class, guiding participants step by step as they paint alongside him while being encouraged to explore their own creativity and personal style. Each guest will create an original piece inspired by Jortt’s signature strange and wonderful style. Come paint something uniquely yours. No experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to play.
This project will be based on a colorful group of balloons.
